How we solve it
We start by mapping what you actually have
Including the parts nobody documented. You would be surprised how often we find a switch in a ceiling that the IT guy who left in 2023 installed. The map we produce is usually the first accurate one the company has owned.
Segmentation that reflects the business
Finance, operations, CCTV, servers and guests get their own network segments. When something goes wrong in one, the others keep working. Auditors and cyber-insurance forms increasingly expect this; flat networks are becoming uninsurable.
Multi-site links with tested failover
If the backup link has never been tested by unplugging the main one during office hours, it is not a backup link. We test it, on purpose, while you watch.
You keep the documentation
Addressing plan, configuration archive, as-built diagram. If you ever leave us, you leave with a network another engineer can pick up in an afternoon. We think that should be normal; in Malaysia it mostly isn't.
